A photoelectric, 240v (hard wired) smoke alarm with a 9v battery backup. Interconnectable with up to 40 Red smoke alarms and includes a test/hush button and visual indicators. Can be wirelessly interconnected with the addition of the Red RF wireless base. The R240 smoke alarm is approved and certified to meet AS3786:2014 and is fully compliant to meet the Queensland 2022 smoke alarm legislation. When the Red RF wireless base is used with this alarm, the Red Smoke Alarm Controller can connect wirelessly to this smoke alarm. This product must be installed by a licensed electrician.
